THT win their first Trophy of the Year!! – 7th October 2021
Over the past 2 weeks, our year 5 and 6s have been competing in a large school football league.
We, at Tarleton Holy Trinity, were lucky enough to have so many enthusiastic children wanting to play and experience tournament football, and Mr Skinner was able to field 2 teams.
The 2 weeks of competition were a huge success culminating in our THT 1 side winning the league and retaining the trophy. Mr Skinner was so impressed and proud with the attitude and application from all of our children.
Although there were some different players from week 1 to 2, the trophy is for those who were part of the squad which includes those who stepped into our other side for this final week. We at THT are blessed with so many keen and willing participants that it makes these competitions a joy to go to!
Finally, a huge thank you to all the support from parents and past pupils over the 2 weeks. Having a crowd back at these events makes them so much more enjoyable.
